The head of the Social Security Pensioners Center said: There has been some progress in the discussion of pensioners’ salary increase. Ali Dehghan Kia, the head of the Social Security Retirees Center, said about the process of increasing pensioners’ salaries: “We have made progress in the discussion of increasing the salaries of retirees, and meetings are being held, and meetings will be held today, and God willing, these cases will be completed soon.” .”

In this regard, Vali Esmaili, the vice-chairman of the Social Committee of the Majlis, told Tasnim: According to this official notification, the government has a one-week deadline to approve a 38% increase for non-minimum wage retirees.

In this conversation, he mentioned that there will be no change regarding the minimum pensioners and their amount will be according to the previous resolution.

For minimum wage pensioners, the social security organization of the government announced its agreement with a 57% increase in pensions, and as a result, the pension of these people was 5.8 million tomans.

According to the proposal of the Social Security Organization, an increase of 38% plus a fixed figure of 515 thousand tomans was supposed to be made for pensioners of other levels, that is, non-minimum earners, but the government reduced this increase to 10%, and instead, for those with pensions below 10 million tomans, a 650 Considered a thousand tomans.

The result of this action of the government was the protest of non-minimum wage pensioners of the Social Security Organization, this protest was not silenced by the correspondence of the Speaker of the Parliament and Paderimani of the First Vice President and even led to the resignation of the former Minister of Cooperation, Labor and Social Welfare.

It was after this incident that the committee for implementing the regulations of the Islamic Council put the review of this issue on its agenda and finally voted to cancel this resolution.
